A baby hat is an indispensable companion in the first months of life. The soft hat made of soft organic merino wool from disana protects your baby's sensitive head from the cold and keeps it pleasantly warm. The wonderfully elastic and, above all, light first hat nestles gently on baby's head. Two attached laces ensure optimal hold. GOTS certified and made in Germany.

Why is the first hat so important
Infants lose a large part of their heat through their scalp. Unlike adults, babies only have a thin layer of hair and no coarse hair to protect them from the cold. The blood vessels in babies are also still very close to the scalp. Babies should therefore wear a light baby hat even in closed rooms to protect them from catching a cold. With this light and wonderfully soft baby hat from Disana, your baby's head will be nice and warm. A baby's skin is incredibly sensitive after birth and in the first months of life. When choosing a suitable baby hat, you should therefore pay particular attention to the use of natural materials. The hat must not scratch the sensitive scalp or cause itching. The Disana hat for newborns is made of fine organic merino wool from Merino sheep. This wool is particularly soft and delicate. The soft and cuddly, lightweight knitted hat hugs your baby's scalp like a second skin.

So that the hat does not pinch even when lying down, the soft knitted hats are equipped with elastic binding and soft flat seams. Care
We recommend washing this material by hand in lukewarm water with a detergent designed for washing wool (e.g. from ULRICH or disana). Please avoid changing the water temperature, as well as wringing and rubbing the material. After washing, spread it out to shape so that it does not stretch and dry horizontally.
