Product detailed description
Practical brown leather indoor and outdoor slippers from Orangenkinder®
Children should walk barefoot as much as possible and for as long as possible. Whenever this is not practicable, either because the floor is too cold or you need to protect your feet, soft leather slippers from OK are the ideal solution. They give little feet enough space without restricting their growth.
Thanks to the hand-sewn elastic, the shoe does not slip on little feet, and older children can easily put it on and take it off.
All AMIGO shoes are 100% made in Germany - where the manufacturer has its own factory in Bavaria.
All Orangenkinder® shoes are made by hand from vegetable-tanned leather.
Perfect as barefoot shoes for the first steps outside, breathable natural leather and non-slip, water-repellent sole - for an all-round safe and comfortable feeling when frolicking, playing and dancing in the fresh air.

What to look out for when buying leather shoes
Not all leather is created in the same way. On the market, suppliers often offer handmade relatively cheap leather slippers. But where does the supposedly cheap leather for small children's shoes come from? And why would it be better to buy relatively expensive leather slippers with labels and certifications that may not mean anything to you? This question is easy to answer. Cheap leather scraps for crafting often come from industrial leather processing. These factories regularly work with chemical processes that not everyone is aware of. However, it becomes problematic when this leather comes into contact with the sensitive skin of children, especially when combined with the sweat of little feet, and these chemical residues, such as chromium VI or similar, dissolve and are absorbed through the skin. For this reason, you should definitely pay attention to labels such as IVN natural leather, ECARF or Ecopell. These guarantee that the leather used has been lightly vegetable tanned and is subject to strict tests for harmful substances. If you buy leather slippers with the appropriate labels, you can be sure that they are breathable, skin-friendly shoes that are ideal for use by children.
Care
This product is not suitable for washing! Do not wash, rinse or use detergents, dish soap, etc.! It is best to use a brush for cleaning. If necessary, wipe with a damp cloth. When drying, fill with newspaper, dry without strong external influences (do not dry on radiators, etc.)
Dyed leather (intense shades) can lose colour when wet.
In order for Orangenkinder® leather to be as durable as possible, care must be taken to keep it supple, soft and tear-resistant! For this purpose, we recommend using an ecological leather care product. For Orangenkinder® with light soiling, commercially available household olive oil also helps.

It's good to walk in children's leather shoes from Orangenkinder
Good shoes are a must, especially for children's feet, which are still in the middle of growing. You should run barefoot as often as possible (this also applies to us adults), but sometimes it's not possible. Feet need protection from external mechanical influences, and sometimes you need something warmer for your feet. The wonderfully soft OK slippers will take care of this - they will keep you warm without making your feet sweat a bit and protect your feet from injuries.
"Healthy" shoes - do they exist? Yes, from Orangenkinder!
The leather used is certified Ecopell natural leather. This certification guarantees the consumer that the leather has been processed according to the strictest ecological guidelines. For this reason, children can slip into comfortable children's shoes even with bare feet. Leather allows the skin to breathe, so there is always a balanced and pleasant climate when wearing nice children's shoes.
Each Orangenkinder shoe is made of plant extracts and does not contain harmful chromium VI compounds. As parents, you don't have to worry if your children wear slippers without socks for long hours. Orangenkinder shoes are excellent barefoot shoes.
